Doha: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense systems destroyed 19 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Ukrainian attempts to carry out drone attacks against targets on Russian territory were stopped last night. The air defense systems on duty successfully intercepted and destroyed 12 drones over the territory of the Oryol region, three drones each over the territories of the Kursk and Belgorod regions, and one over the Republic of Crimea.

Both Russia and Ukraine frequently announce near-daily reports of downed drones, but verifying these claims remains challenging due to the ongoing conflict that began in February 2022.
