Russia Reports Control of New Village in Northeast Ukraine, Shoots Down 356 Drones

Moscow: The Northern Group of the Russian Armed Forces captured the village of Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast, northeast of Ukraine, took out 865 Ukrainian troops, and shot down 356 drones, the Russian Defense Ministry reported in a statement Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement added that the Russian forces had made a game changer on all combat fronts in the special operation zone. The tactical and offensive aircraft, alongside missile and artillery forces of the Russian Armed Forces, had inflicted damages upon the Ukrainian military industrial complex facilities, the statement continued.

It added that the damaged establishments included the infrastructure of military airfields, facilities for the production and assembly of long-range drones, a training center for drone operators, and temporary deployment sites of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 148 locations.

Over the recent weeks, Russia declared that its forces have made breakthroughs on several combat fronts and taken over numerous new areas in eastern Ukraine. This Russian-alleged military game-changer comes concomitantly with the ongoing US-led peace talks to reach a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
