Moscow: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed Wednesday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi the bilateral relations and developments in the Middle East, particularly the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. The talks in Moscow highlighted the need to intensify efforts to achieve a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza and to ensure the immediate and sufficient delivery of aid to the Strip, which is experiencing a humanitarian crisis due to ongoing hostilities.
According to Qatar News Agency, Lavrov and Safadi exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest. The discussions underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to address the challenges facing the Middle East and emphasized a commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between Russia and Jordan amidst the complex geopolitical landscape.
