Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Sunday that its air defenses shot down six Ukrainian drones overnight, most of them over the border region of Belgorod.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that air defense systems successfully destroyed five drones over the border region of Belgorod and one more in the Oryol region.

Since the onset of the conflict on February 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have frequently reported repelling attacks from each other. However, due to the ongoing war, this information has not been independently verified.
