Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Thursday that its air defense systems destroyed 42 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory overnight.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that 13 drones were destroyed over the Bryansk region, 12 over the Kaluga region, seven over the Kursk region, four each over the Belgorod region and the Republic of Crimea, and one drone each over the Orel and Moscow regions.

Since the beginning of the war three years ago, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily reports confirming that each side has repelled attacks from the other, without verifying these reports due to the circumstances of the war and the ongoing fighting.
