Russia Claims 1,265 Ukrainian Casualties in 24 Hours Due to Military Operations

Doha: Ukrainian forces have reportedly suffered 1,265 casualties over the past 24 hours, as military operations continue across multiple combat zones, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry detailed in its daily report the targeting of infrastructure utilized by Ukrainian military forces, including those related to transportation and energy systems. The report also highlighted the targeting of areas used for assembling long-range drones.

The ministry further reported that Russian troops successfully recaptured the village of Karpivka in the Donetsk region. Additionally, Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed several aerial threats, including an air-guided bomb, seven HIMARS rockets, five Flamingo cruise missiles, and 172 Ukrainian drones within the last 24-hour period.
