Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air forces intercepted and destroyed 128 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry said in a statement that air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 83 drones over the Krasnodar region, 30 other drones over the Crimea region, eight drones over the Sea of Azov, five drones over the Black Sea, and one drone over both the Bryansk and Kursk regions.

Russia and Ukraine release daily claims of downing drones, though it is difficult to verify these reports due to the ongoing war since February 2022.
