Rotary-wing Aircraft Crashes in Nigeria, Crew Rescued

A rotary-wing aircraft crashed on Tuesday after colliding with a building in Lagos city, Nigeria.

Local media in Nigeria quoted eyewitnesses as saying a fire broke out in the building following the crash causing chaos and flames.

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) spokesman Ibrahim Farinloye said that two persons were onboard and are still alive after the authorities managed to rescue them.

Another official at NEMA said that the aircraft crashed in a road in front of a building in Lagos, adding that four persons were admitted to hospital.

Meanwhile, Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau stated that it has yet to collect ample information about the accident. (QNA)
