Bucharest: President of Romania Nicusor Dan announced that his country has decided to allow the United States to access its air bases for refueling aircraft participating in the war against Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement Wednesday, Dan described this measure as a temporary deployment of US equipment and military personnel in Romania, emphasizing that the step will help refuel aircraft and deploy surveillance and communication devices via satellites.

The Romanian Parliament approved this measure after it was scrutinized by the Supreme Council of Defense earlier today.
