RACA Highlights Qatar’s Experience in Charitable Work at Gulf Non-Profit Sector Forum in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) participated in a specialized seminar within the Gulf Non-Profit Sector Forum to strengthen the relationship with the government and private sectors, held on the sidelines of the International Non-Profit Sector Exhibition (IENA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During his speech at the seminar, Director of Licensing and Support at RACA Rashid Mohammed Al Nuaimi reviewed Qatar's experience in organizing charitable work.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Nuaimi emphasized that RACA plays a pivotal role in establishing regulatory frameworks that ensure governance and transparency. This supports the commitment of charitable entities to national and international standards, enhancing the effectiveness of the sector and preserving its humanitarian and developmental goals. He addressed the "SANADY" platform for coordinating internal aid, considering it a model in unifying charitable efforts and enhancing coordination among relevant entities. This contributes to achieving effective developmental impact according to clear priorities that respond to community needs.

Al Nuaimi pointed out that RACA adopts an integrated system for licensing, monitoring, and support, allowing charitable entities to carry out their activities according to precise regulations. This contributes to building trust with local and international partners, positively reflecting on the quality of performance and sustainability of charitable initiatives. He also appreciated the efforts of Saudi Arabia in organizing this forum, considered an important platform for exchanging experiences and showcasing best practices in the non-profit sector. He affirmed Qatar's keenness to enhance cooperation with various brotherly and friendly entities in this vital field.
