Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Tuesday, marking an increase of 95.06 points, or 0.94%, to reach 10,189 points, surpassing the previous session's close. The rise was driven by growth across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data highlighted that the Transportation sector saw the most significant gain with an increase of 1.50%. The Banks and Financial Services sector followed closely with a rise of 1.11%, while Industrials increased by 1.01%. The Real Estate sector experienced a growth of 1.00%, Insurance rose by 0.99%, Telecoms by 0.92%, and the Consumer Goods and Services sector saw an uptick of 0.84%.

By 10:00 am, the trading turnover had reached QAR 87.683 million, with a total of 38.256 million shares being exchanged across 5,415 transactions.
