QSE Index Sees Slight Decline in Thursday’s Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed its trading session on Thursday, down by 2.67 points, or 0.02 percent, to stand at 10,827.19 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 150,062,088 shares being traded, with a value of QR 416,776,820.285. These transactions were executed through 21,170 deals across all sectors in the market.

The session saw a mixed performance among companies, with the shares of 22 companies rising, while 25 companies experienced a decline in their share values. Five companies' shares remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.

By the end of the trading session, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 640,131,848,936.041, showing an increase from QR 639,443,389,564.487 in the previous session.
