QSE Index Sees 1.33% Decline as Market Closes Lower

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Thursday, falling by 143.15 points, or 1.33 percent, to settle at 10,607.96 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 298,989,380 shares exchanged, with a total trading value of QAR 2,528,882,839.840 executed through 33,003 transactions across various sectors.

During the session, shares of eight companies recorded gains, while 43 companies saw a decline in their share prices. One company maintained its previous closing price.

By the end of the trading session, the market capitalization was QAR 633,736,846,148.128, a decrease from QAR 642,772,593,588.312 recorded in the previous session.
