Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading session with an increase of 46.46 points, or 0.42 percent, reaching 11,187.50 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed the trading of 207,217,026 shares, amounting to a total value of QR 521,809,592.795, conducted through 21,058 transactions spanning all sectors. The trading activity led to 35 companies experiencing a rise in their share prices, while 14 companies saw a decline, and three companies maintained their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the end of the trading session was reported at QR 660,597,304,275.910, showing an increase compared to QR 657,370,725,575.231 from the previous session.
