Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Monday’s trading session higher, increasing by 120.82 points, or 1.08 percent, to reach 11,282.24 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a total of 154,849,442 shares exchanged, with a trading value amounting to QAR 449,211,501.221, executed through 38,425 transactions spanning all sectors.
Out of the participating companies, 29 experienced a rise in share prices, whereas 20 companies witnessed a decline in their stock values. Meanwhile, three companies retained their previous closing prices.
By the end of the trading day, the market capitalization registered at QAR 672,172,685,207.188, up from QAR 665,141,991,801.372 recorded in the previous session.
