QSE Index Rises 28.35 Points at Start of Trading

Doha: The QSE index rose at the beginning of Wednesday's trading by 0.25%, gaining 28.35 points to reach 11,248 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains across various sectors with Insurance leading the way, posting an increase of 1.07%. The Telecoms sector followed with a rise of 0.53%, while Industrials saw a growth of 0.25%. Banks and Financial Services recorded an increase of 0.20%, and the Real Estate sector experienced a gain of 0.11%. Additionally, the Transportation sector rose by 0.10%, and Consumer Goods and Services edged up by 0.02%.

By 10:00 am, the QSE reported a turnover of QR 39.511 million from 21.059 million shares traded across 2,242 transactions.
