QSE Index Rises 15.13 Points at Start of Trading


Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading by 0.14%, gaining 15.13 points to reach 10,697 points, compared to the previous session’s close, backed by four sectors.



According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Industrials (+1.16%), Insurance (+0.24%), Telecoms (+0.10%), and Real Estate (+0.03%). Meanwhile, the performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services (-0.06%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.14%), and Transportation (-0.44%).



By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 49.612 million from 19.232 million shares traded across 3,353 transactions.
