Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Tuesday’s trading session with a slight increase, gaining 7.51 points, or 0.07 percent, to reach 11,289.75 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 133,238,618 shares being exchanged, with the total value amounting to QAR 466,973,613.275. These transactions were carried out through 29,501 trades spanning all market sectors.

The session ended with the shares of 25 companies registering gains, while another 25 companies saw their shares decline. Three companies maintained their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the close of the session was QAR 672,417,296,185.620, reflecting an increase from QAR 672,172,685,207.188 recorded in the previous trading session.
