QSE Index Opens Lower at Start of Wednesday’s Trading

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 23.44 points, or 0.23%, at the start of Wednesday's trading, down to 10,083 points, under pressure from five sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed declines in the sectors of Consumer Goods and Services (-0.18%), Industrials (-0.24%), Insurance (-0.29%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.47%), and Real Estate (-0.72%). However, performance was positive for Transportation (+0.35%) and Telecoms (+0.24%).

At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 3,931 transactions worth QR 58.618 million, distributed across 32.985 million shares.
