Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 5.25 points, or 0.05 percent, at the start of trading on Thursday, reaching 11,154 points. Figures from the Qatar Stock Exchange showed positive performance in Telecoms (+1.24 percent) and Industrials (+0.18 percent). On the other hand, negative performance was recorded in the Banks and Financial Services (-0.12 percent), Transportation (-0.16 percent), Insurance (-0.18 percent), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.21 percent), and Real Estate (-0.22 percent).

According to Qatar News Agency, as of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 28.119 million shares, with a total value of QAR 76.781 million across 2,999 transactions.
