Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Monday's trading by 0.17%, gaining 19.25 points to reach 11,144 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by six sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Transportation (+0.90%), Telecoms (+0.59%), Industrials (+0.14%), Insurance (+0.13%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.10%), and Real Estate (+0.08%). Meanwhile, Consumer Goods and Services went down by (-0.09%).

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 33.707 million from 18.454 million shares traded across 2619 transactions.
