Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index rose by 46.76 points, or 0.43%, at the start of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,847 points, compared to the previous session's close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the index was supported by gains across six sectors: Industrials (+0.66%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.42%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.24%), Real Estate (+0.13%), Transportation (+0.11%), and Telecoms (+0.09%). The Insurance sector, however, declined by 0.67%.
As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 34.239 million shares, with a total turnover of QR 79.389 million across 4,243 transactions.
