Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Tuesday, registering a gain of 26.88 points, or 0.26%, to reach 10,373 points compared to the previous session's close. The increase was supported by all sectors within the exchange.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data indicated gains across several sectors. The Telecoms sector saw an increase of 0.56%, while the Banks and Financial Services sector rose by 0.43%. The Real Estate and Insurance sectors each experienced a growth of 0.33%, Industrials advanced by 0.27%, Consumer Goods and Services improved by 0.10%, and the Transportation sector edged up by 0.02%.

By 10:00 am, trading turnover amounted to QAR 160.104 million, with a volume of 107.259 million shares being traded in a total of 4,767 transactions.
