Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 61.58 points, or 0.59%, at the start of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,545 points, compared to the previous close, supported by gains across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE index was backed by gains in several sectors. Transportation saw a rise of 1.34%, Industrials increased by 1.09%, and Real Estate went up by 0.58%. Consumer Goods and Services recorded a growth of 0.56%, Telecoms increased by 0.23%, while Banks and Financial Services and Insurance sectors rose by 0.12% and 0.03%, respectively.
As of 10:00 am, a total of 32.110 million shares had been traded in 3,582 transactions, with a total value of QR 80.353 million.
