QSE Index Gains 0.15% at Start of Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 0.15% at the start of trading on Tuesday, adding 16.55 points to reach the level of 10,766 points, compared to the closing of the previous session, backed by three sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE's figures showed a positive performance in Transportation by 0.70%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.21%; and Real Estate by 0.04%. However, the index saw a decline in Industrials by 0.01%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.02%; Telecoms by 0.24%; and Insurance by 0.63%.

By 10:00 am, 20.620 million shares were traded in 2,386 transactions valued at QR 48.037 million.
