The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 20.98 points, or 0.20%, at the beginning of Thursday’s trading, to reach the level of 10,642.52 points, compared to yesterday’s closing.
Thursday’s session saw a rise in four sectors: Insurance by 0.30%; Real Estate by 0.17%; Telecoms by 0.12%; and Transportation by 0.12%. However, the general index was weighed down by a decline in Industrials by 0.64%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.15%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.15%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,891 transactions worth QR 40,951,539.911, distributed to 15,895,553 shares.
