QSE Index Declines by 118.02 Points

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Tuesday, showing a decline of 118.02 points, or 1.09 percent, to settle at 10,682.52 points. During the trading session, there was a total trade of 117,397,311 shares, accumulating a value of QR 449,760,583.958, executed through 45,529 transactions across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed the shares of five companies rise, while 45 companies saw a decline in their share prices. Additionally, two companies maintained their previous closing price. By the end of the trading session, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 637,837,608,790.640, which was a decrease from QR 646,152,294,192.438 in the previous session.
