Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Tuesday, declining by 90.03 points, or 0.83 percent, to reach 10,745.92 points. During the session, trading activity was robust with a total of 117,734,869 shares exchanged, amounting to a value of QAR 371,044,552.716, executed through 22,553 transactions spanning all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw mixed performances across the listed companies. Out of the total, 11 companies experienced a rise in their share prices, whereas 33 companies witnessed a decline. Meanwhile, 8 companies managed to retain their previous closing prices without any change.
At the conclusion of the trading activities, the market capitalization was recorded at QAR 643,449,830,619.294. This marked a reduction from the previous session's market capitalization of QAR 650,556,894,582.019, reflecting the overall decrease in the index's value.
