Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Thursday's trading session on a positive note, rising by 60.25 points, or 0.56 percent, to settle at 10,759.49 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw significant activity with 158,603,019 shares changing hands, amounting to a total value of QAR 373,221,919.763. These transactions were executed in 19,340 trades spanning all sectors of the market.
Out of the companies listed, 31 witnessed an increase in their share prices, while 19 companies experienced a decrease. Three companies remained unaffected, maintaining their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization at the conclusion of the trading session reached QAR 635,730,035,174.563, marking an increase from the previous session's QAR 632,867,359,184.110.
