Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange index closed Sunday's trading session up by 3.58 points, or 0.03 percent, to settle at 10,718.23 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 161,185,516 shares were traded, valued at QAR 413,997,237.854, across 24,737 transactions in all sectors. The trading session saw the shares of 23 companies rise, while 25 declined, and six remained unchanged, reflecting a mixed performance across the market.

Market capitalization at the end of the session stood at QAR 638,916,597,147.186, compared with QAR 638,547,101,416.866 in the previous session, indicating a slight increase in the overall market value.
