QSE Index Closes Lower by 0.07 Percent

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index ended Sunday's trading session with a decrease of 7.53 points, or 0.07 percent, settling at 10,751.96 points. This slight decline reflects the dynamic nature of the market across various sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 101,595,429 shares changing hands, with a total value of QAR 264,868,913.963. These transactions were carried out in 10,025 deals spanning all sectors of the market.

Out of all the companies listed, 29 experienced an increase in their share prices. In contrast, 19 companies faced a decline, while four companies maintained their previous closing prices. This mixed performance highlights the various factors influencing the market.

The market capitalization by the end of the trading session was recorded at QAR 635,884,854,765.419. This marks a slight increase from the previous session's market capitalization, which was QAR 635,730,035,174.563, indicating a minor fluctuation in overall market value.
