Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index concluded Monday's trading session with an increase of 11.97 points, or 0.11 percent, bringing the index to a close at 11,179.72 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed the trading of 178,519,035 shares, which were valued at QR 363,121,304.402. These transactions were conducted through 30,827 trades across all sectors.

During this trading session, the shares of 32 companies recorded an increase, while 20 companies experienced a decline in their share prices. Additionally, one company maintained its previous closing price, showing no change.

The market capitalization at the end of the session increased to QR 664,488,558,780.015, compared to QR 663,393,609,461.743 in the previous session, reflecting a positive trend in the market activity.
