Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Tuesday’s trading session with an increase of 133.960 points, or 1.280 percent, finalizing at 10,618.02 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed the exchange of 184,242,725 shares, amassing a total value of QAR 439,346,781.170. These transactions were conducted over 22,265 deals, spanning across all sectors.

Out of the companies listed, 42 experienced a rise in their share prices, while five companies saw declines. Meanwhile, four companies maintained their previous closing prices. The market capitalization at the close of the session was QAR 626,293,430,178.708, up from QAR 620,602,322,342.119 noted in the previous session.
