Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) experienced a slight decline of 8.49 points, or 0.08%, at the onset of Tuesday's trading. The index settled at 10,723 points, showcasing a decrease compared to the previous day's closing figures.
According to Qatar News Agency, the decline in the QSE was influenced by several sectors, including Industrials, which fell by 0.02%, and Transportation, down by 0.11%. Banks and Financial Services decreased by 0.16%, Consumer Goods and Services saw a reduction of 0.28%, and Insurance dropped by 0.29%. Conversely, Real Estate experienced an increase of 0.24%, while Telecoms rose by 0.31%.
As of 10:00 am, the trading volume included 33.681 million shares exchanged through 2,907 transactions, amounting to a total value of QR 61.365 million.
