Manama: HE Second Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) for West Asia Dr. Thani bin Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, along with HE QOC’s Secretary-General and Vice President of the OCA for the Doha 2030 Asian Games Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, participated in the OCA Executive Board meeting held Wednesday in Bahrain on the sidelines of the 3rd Asian Youth Games.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the latest updates regarding the 20th Asian Games, which are scheduled to take place next year in Nagoya, Japan. Additionally, preparations for the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, set to be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were also discussed.

Further discussions included arrangements for the upcoming OCA General Assembly, which is scheduled for January in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The meeting addressed several agenda items with decisions made to progress the Olympic movement in Asia and align with its future aspirations.
