Doha: HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi met with HE Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz Mohamed Al Horr and his accompanying delegation. The meeting centered on exploring joint cooperation between QNA and the Diplomatic Institute and examining opportunities to enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Dr. Abdulaziz Mohamed Al Horr and his delegation received a comprehensive technical presentation on the operations at QNA and the significant developments within its various departments in recent years. The presentation highlighted the advanced work systems adopted by QNA, which have contributed to improving the efficiency and quality of the agency's daily output.
The visit included a tour of the QNA Training Centre, where Dr. Al Horr was briefed on the specialized training programs available, aimed at equipping graduates of journalism and media departments with the necessary skills to work at QNA or other state institutions. The delegation was also informed about the first training course of 2026, titled "Foundation Program for New Employees," which commenced on Sunday. This program is part of QNA's initiatives to develop Qatari personnel's skills in media and institutional work.
The foundational program is designed to familiarize employees with QNA's mission, vision, and core values, ensuring their alignment with the agency's organizational culture and strategic objectives. Dr. Al Horr and the delegation praised the advancements made by Qatar News Agency, particularly its integration of artificial intelligence and advanced media technologies into its operations.
