Doha: The Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) announced today the organization of the second edition of the Leadership Innovation Forum 2025, under the theme “The Art of Decision Making,” to be held on Sunday, November 2.
According to Qatar News Agency, this year’s forum builds on the success of its first edition in 2024, further solidifying its position as a leading national platform that brings together promising leaders, experts, and decision-makers from various sectors to explore leadership thinking in critical situations and highlight decisions that make a difference in the paths to success and excellence.
In his remarks during the press conference, Director General of QLC, Abdullah Mohammed Khalifa Al Binali explained that the Leadership Innovation Forum 2025 focuses on the skill of decision making as the essence of true leadership, noting that conscious leadership is capable of balancing vision and insight and transforming challenges into opportunities.
Al Binali added that this year’s edition is distinguished by the depth of its themes and the diversity of its topics, which encompass sports, medicine, family, technology, and society. It also features expanded regional and international participation through the hosting of a distinguished group of international speakers and center alumni.
This year’s forum focuses on the dimensions of leadership from the perspective of “the art of decision-making,” through keynote and interactive sessions that combine experience, practice, and inspiration. Among the most prominent sessions are: Leadership in Sports, which highlights collaboration and teamwork in high-pressure competitive environments; Medical Leadership: Between Prevention and Precision, which addresses critical decisions in modern medicine and their impact on saving lives; Leadership at Home: Building Future Leaders, which focuses on the role of family and community in instilling the values of leadership and responsibility; Initiating Leadership: From Idea to Implementation, which includes an interactive session simulating the decision-making process using modern digital tools; and From Legacy to Building the Future, which explores the transition from preserving family or institutional legacy to developing and sustaining it through conscious leadership decisions.
The forum also includes several side sessions and interactive workshops, most notably “Leadership and Youth Empowerment – Preparing an Innovative Generation of Future Leaders,” and “Will You Accept Me?” which discusses the impact of fear of rejection on decision-making. Another session, “Technology and Legislation – Flexible Decisions in a Rapidly Growing World,” explores the balance between innovation and ethical responsibility in the digital era.
The forum features a dedicated pavilion for graduates of national programs, showcasing their success stories and inspiring experiences. This fosters communication between generations of leaders and encourages young people to adopt conscious and responsible leadership practices.
The forum is expected to bring together around 1,000 guests, including dignitaries, ministers, speakers, and experts from various sectors, in addition to graduates of the Qatar Leadership Centre and young leaders from across the country.
The Leadership Innovation Forum continues to play its role as an annual national platform that combines thought and practice, enabling leaders to develop their skills in leadership, innovation, and decision-making, thereby contributing to strengthening the leadership system in the State of Qatar and consolidating its presence and influence locally and globally.
