QFA Participates in AFC Financial Committee Meeting in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala lumpur: Qatar Football Association (QFA) took part in the Sixth Meeting of the AFC Financial Committee convened Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Secretary-General of QFA Mansoor Al Ansari represented the association at this meeting in his capacity as a member of the committee, and it was convened as part of the committee's series of meetings for the first half of 2026. According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting ratified the minutes of the previous meeting of the AFC Financial Committee held last December and went over the agenda of the sixth meeting, which endorsed the report of the external auditor and submitted it to the Audit and Compliance Committee and the Financial Committee, alongside other relevant matters. The aforementioned matters included the actual comprehensive income statement, revenues and broadcasting production costs, administrative and special project expenses, salaries and benefits, development and education programs, and membership-enhancement programs. Overall, the conferees debated the financial performance in the previous period and underscored their support for the committee to undertake the AFC plans and programs germane to the financial aspect in general. They likewise discussed avenues for ensuring the continuation of implementing the activities and tournaments with their various categories and achieving further successes on the continental stage.
