Qatar’s Strategic Initiatives Highlighted Across Sectors.

Doha: HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, has stressed the ongoing threat of desertification to natural resources, food security, and life sustainability, calling for unified efforts by governments and international organizations to develop innovative solutions for environmental equilibrium. According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reiterated Qatar's commitment to a comprehensive political solution to the Syrian crisis that prioritizes the interests of the Syrian people. He also emphasized the significance of the upcoming state visit by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH Consort Sheikha Jowaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani to the United Kingdom, upon invitation from HM King Charles III, to strengthen bilateral relations. In Riyadh, HE Shura Council Secretary-General Nayef bin Mohammed Al Mahmoud m et with his Saudi counterpart, Dr. Mohammed bin Dakhil Al Mutairi, while a Shura Council delegation, led by HE Chairman of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Dosari, engaged with Saudi Shura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sheikh. The Shura Council also participated in the 53rd meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean via video conferencing. The Ministry of Justice launched the first phase of its digital legal services as part of its digital transformation plan. The fourth edition of the Doha Forum - Youth Edition will launch in collaboration with the QatarDebate Center.
