Doha:HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi engaged in a phone call with HE Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Zhai Jun on Wednesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion focused on reviewing and enhancing bilateral cooperative relations. They also addressed the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and boosting regional security and stability.

HE Dr. Al Khulaifi reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts and initiatives that ensure freedom of maritime navigation and work towards a comprehensive agreement for sustainable peace in the region.
