Doha: Qatari newspapers addressed several topics in their Thursday editorials, most notably on local affairs, such as the State's participation in the special session of the Global Coalition for Social Justice, currently held in Geneva. The newspapers agreed that if promoting social justice is one of the most prominent achievements of the International Labor Organization, then Qatar joining the Global Coalition for Social Justice represents an important step and reflects a firm conviction among the leadership, government, and business community in Qatar, and reflects the genuine commitment of the State of Qatar and its keenness to promote international cooperation to achieve social justice, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

Concluding its editorial, Al-Sharq emphasized that joining the alliance is not merely membership, but a responsibility that entails steps adopted and monitored by the state to transform political commitments into practical initiatives that contribute to achieving decent work goals, empowering the most vulnerable groups, and expanding social protection in a way that achieves justice and dignity for all.
In turn, Al-Raya affirmed that Qatar has become a role model in social justice, both through its legislative laws that uphold the value of human rights and through its international initiatives to establish an international commitment to social justice, by building a comprehensive business environment that contributes to development and consolidates the concept of social responsibility to empower people by supporting their basic rights, their right to live in dignity, and their right to work.
