According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Sharq newspaper emphasized that the announcement of the formation of the Bid Committee for the 2036 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani as Chairman and HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, as Vice Chairperson, reflects the country's commitment to organizing the Olympic Games as a comprehensive national project aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The newspaper explained that since assuming the presidency of the Qatar Olympic Committee in 2015, Sheikh Joaan has played a role in enhancing Qatar's position on the global sports map through a strategic vision that positioned sports as a cornerstone of the national vision.
