Qatari Riders Shine in International Showjumping Championships

Brussels: Qatari riders achieved outstanding results in show jumping competitions at the Bonheiden International Championships in Belgium and the Royan International Championships in France. Rider Fahad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani finished second in the 135 cm round at the Bonheiden showjumping events held in Belgium, among the participation of 33 elite riders from around the world.

According to Qatar News Agency, the rider completed both rounds without errors, achieving times of 53.54 seconds in the first round and 27.58 seconds in the second round riding Krokant 31. Swedish rider Sofia Westborg, riding Cornet Clover Girl, finished first with times of 52.46 seconds and 27.29 seconds in the second round, while she finished third on her other horse, Cart d'Or Z.

In France, rider Sultan Salem Al Naemi excelled, winning first place in the 130 cm jumping competition at the Royan International Championships on horse Energica, confirming his high technical capabilities and his advancement in the international rankings.

These results represent a significant achievement for Qatari equestrian sports, reflecting the ongoing efforts to develop the level of riders and the significant support equestrian sports receive in the State of Qatar.
