Qatari Riders Excel in Summer Showcase Championship in the Netherlands

Valkenswaard: Qatari riders have continued their brilliance in the second summer festival of the Summer Showcase Championship in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands. Qatari rider Bassem Mohamed won first place in the 150 cm jumping competition.

According to Qatar News Agency, Bassem Mohamed won with a time of 73.86 seconds on F1 USA, outperforming a group of international riders in one of the tournament's toughest competitions. Dutch rider Kevin Jochems finished second on Casquetto van de Heele with a time of 73.98 seconds, while Saudi rider Khalid Al Mubti finished third on Davenport VDL with a time of 75.21 seconds, in a competition that was decided by fractions of a second between the top three places.

The third day of the championship witnessed a remarkable Qatari presence across various categories. Salman Faisal Al Marri, Hamad Mohamed Al Marri, Tamim Ghanem Al Maadheed, Issa Abdullah Al Ghanim, Hessa Al Jaber, and Abdullah Ahmed Al Khulaifi excelled in the 80 cm category.

In the 105 cm category, riders Al Qaqaa bin Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Sultan Jassim Al Suwaidi, Ghanem Thamer Al Maadhadi, Abdullah Mohammed Al Marri, and Ali Omar Al Ansari demonstrated a strong presence and genuine competition in the championship arenas.

The 115 cm category saw the distinguished participation of Khalid Jassim Al Suwaidi, Yousef Abdulrahman Al Muftah, Abdullah Ahmed Al Mesifry, and Fahad Mansour Al Mahmoud. Mohammed Faisal Al Marri and Ahmed Ali Al Jaber also excelled in the 115 cm star category.

In a related context, Qatari rider Abdullah Faisal Al Manea achieved a distinguished victory on the 9th day of the Lebanese Equestrian League in the beginners category (85-90 cm), where he was able to win first place on the horse Koba, reflecting his high technical readiness and consistent level in regional competitions, thus continuing to strengthen the distinguished Qatari presence in various Arab and international equestrian arenas.
