According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Raya newspaper's editorial strongly dismissed any infringement on Qatar's sovereignty, regarding the Israeli apology as proof of the nation's robust international stature. The paper underscored Qatar's mediating role in conjunction with partners to alleviate Palestinian suffering. It elaborated on President Trump's plan, which consists of principles needing detailed discussion, particularly concerning governance and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Meanwhile, Al-Sharq newspaper noted Qatar's proactive stance following the receipt of Trump's Gaza plan, which aims for an immediate cessation of hostilities if agreed upon by all parties.
