Doha: In their Wednesday editorials, Qatari newspapers underscored the official talks held on Tuesday between HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan.

According to Qatar News Agency, these discussions highlighted Qatar’s ongoing support for Sudan through humanitarian and development initiatives, aligning with its foreign policy that prioritizes people and links political stability with improved living conditions.

Al-Raya newspaper emphasized that the Qatari-Sudanese relations are founded on cooperation and mutual support, reinforced by years of political communication and joint coordination. The talks between HH the Amir and Lt. Gen. Al Burhan reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to supporting Sudan during a critical phase, requiring collective efforts to maintain its security, stability, and unity.
