Qatari Newspapers Highlight Real Estate Growth and Support for Lebanon Amid Regional Challenges

Doha: Qatari newspapers focused on local and regional issues in their Sunday editorials, with an emphasis on the significant growth in the real estate market. Qatar's advantageous location and robust economy have solidified its status as a magnet for foreign investors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the newspapers also emphasized Qatar's support for Lebanese institutions, particularly the army. The Qatari financial grant, directed by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, has played a crucial role in alleviating the economic crisis impacts on the Lebanese military amid the currency devaluation.

On the Arab front, the newspapers addressed the dire situation in the Gaza Strip, highlighting Qatar's diplomatic efforts to resolve regional conflicts. They called for an immediate ceasefire and a return to negotiations aimed at establishing a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Locally, Al-Raya newspaper underscored the remarkable development in Qatar's real estate market, noting diverse investment opportunities. The state has implemented policies to attract real estate investments, viewing the market as a profitable venture with high returns.

Al-Raya further acknowledged the Real Estate Regulatory Authority's role in regulating and stimulating sector growth in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030. The Authority collaborates with partners to establish regulatory frameworks, oversee licensing, and enhance investor confidence.

Al-Sharq remarked on Qatar's ongoing support for Lebanon since the 2019 crisis, especially for the army. The Qatari financial grant has been vital for mitigating economic burdens faced by the military, as noted by Commander of the Army General Rodolphe Helou.

Al-Sharq emphasized Qatar's steadfast commitment to Lebanon, highlighting the grant's role in strengthening the army's capabilities. The State of Qatar continues to stand by Lebanon and its institutions, supporting their security and sovereignty efforts amid political, economic, and humanitarian challenges.
