On the domestic front, the newspapers addressed Qatar's significant role as a key player in the future of renewable energy. This is not only due to its status as one of the world's leading exporters of natural gas but also because of its strategic efforts to diversify energy sources and reduce its carbon footprint.

Al-Arab newspaper began its editorial by noting that the convening of the ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Somalia in Doha reaffirms Qatar's prominent role in supporting efforts to promote security, stability, and development in Somalia. The newspaper cited remarks by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, who emphasized key principles that Doha consistently upholds, such as respect for Somalia's sovereignty and support for national reconciliation.

By hosting the conference, Qatar aims to translate this vision into tangible steps that benefit the Somali people.
