Doha: An official source in the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that Qatari citizens are exempt from entry visa requirements to the Republic of Albania, during the period from April 15, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
According to Qatar News Agency, this development allows Qatari nationals to travel to Albania without the need for a visa, providing ease of travel and potentially boosting tourism and bilateral relations between the two nations. The exemption is set to last for a period of more than eight months, covering the majority of 2026. This move is part of ongoing efforts to facilitate travel and strengthen ties between Qatar and Albania.
