Tunis:The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, held a phone conversation with the Saudi Arabian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud. The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as addressing recent regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders talked about diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to promote security and stability in the region. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized Qatar's solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting measures to protect its sovereignty and interests, and highlighting that the security of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is interconnected.

Sheikh Mohammed reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting initiatives that aim to reduce tensions and achieve a comprehensive agreement for lasting peace in the region.
